Well the season is here. Any word on new teams forming, kids moving to different clubs, teams to watch out for in all ages? Should be another great year for Juniors volleyball in the HOA region.

The top teams from last year that would be a year older that I think did well would be
14's Mavs 15's Power 16's Extreme, Mavs 17's Invasion 18's Invasion Not sure if this is correct but just a guess. |

Has anyone heard if the Topeka Juniors are having that big tournament they have at the start of the season. I have not seen it on the HOA website yet.

I was the past tournament director for the Topeka Juniors and have passed the torch on to a new director. I am not sure when the Topeka Juniors will have there tournament but I think I heard the 12/13 of January. Please have patience with the new directors in that it is all a new learning experience for them. I wish all of your club teams a very successful year and will miss being around all our vball friends. My daughter is now in college so onward we go!!!!

Isn't the tryouts for the older girls today? I know the younger girls were last weekend...
I think it is a bit early to prognosticate (sp?) until we see where everyone lands. I think there will be some shuffling with some of the premier players in the 17's which will make one team a powerhouse.... Hopefully Newpost will now see this thread and lend his expertise and final lineups... WW |

...to Audrey. Great kid from a great volleyball family. Fiery competitor with one of the quickest arm snaps in Kansas. Proof positive that there is an enourmous number of talented players outside the coveted Open Division and great coaches doing great work in preparing those players for competitive programs like this one going to #12 ranked K-State!
