LOL…Well by all means thread away on these 8^th graders at the infancy of their junior volleyball journey. What caught the Bear's eye was the laughable comments like "…in a class by themselves"; "…lost a good player but gained four better ones"; "…lost their two best players (to another club)" being attributed to pre-high school kids with, what(?), two years of volleyball under their belt?

While the margin of improvement is somewhat limited at the older ages, it is significant at the younger ages 12-14. My point was only to communicate the fact that the players now leading may soon be the players following as huge gains in skill and brains for the game can be made at these early ages.

From simply a parental point of view I would not want my 14-year old DD to believe she's "in a class by herself" at the ripe old age of 14 as the fall from that pedestal may be dramatic as players zoom by later in their careers or even a season. As long as posts are positive about these youngsters, thought about rationaly (class by themselves..lol) and consideration made about the players and clubs (lost their two best players; replaced by four better players) before hitting the button...by all means post away!
