I appreciate your frustration, but you have to understand that this is the way the "system" works. My dd is an 09 verbally committed to a D1 school and they informed us on the front end when the scholarship was offered and accepted that they wouldn't be contacting my dd every other day, etc. Primarily because they're extensively involed in their own season, etc. and in all honesty, I'm glad they're so focused on the "current team." I find it depends on the personality/operational philosophy of the coaches- my dd was recruited by some major schools and some were very communicative while others were not; however, the bottom line is, if your dd is high on their list, you will KNOW it. So, in my humble opinion, if you're not get a lot of response back right now from schools you've submitted info to it could be because of one of three reasons: 1) The coaches are very focused on their current team, 2) Your dd is not high on their list, or 3) They simply haven't fully evaluated her info yet and will contact you accordingly. You also need to realize that in terms of the "recruiting season" it's late in the game for the 09's and most schools are now focusing on the 10's. If you haven't already, you may want to contact the schools listed in prep's 2009 needs list, as those schools have indicated an real "need" for a particuar position, etc. I hope this helps and believe me I understand your situation!
