Offshore Waves Boys Volleyball Club is returning for its second season. After a very successful first year, we are excited to get things going again.
The OWVBC idea originated from Santa Monica College men's volleyball coaches John Mayer (also a former member of the Pepperdine men's volleyball program) and Yariv Lerner (Former Thousand Oaks High School boy's Varsity Coach). Under the direction of former Pepperdine men's volleyball player, Kevin Endsley, OWVBC was created with the intent to teach athletes how to compete at a higher level, to expand the game of volleyball in West LA, and to develop student-athletes into young men as they prepare for college. Through an established coaching staff (including the addition of Cal State Northridge coach, Jeff Conover) that has both competed and coached at the highest levels, we will train our players physically and mentally to handle adversities on and off the court.
Tryouts:September 13 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm
Make Up Tryouts:
September 20 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm
