Tim: all the teams 12-18 were added to the total even if they were designated local or non traveling teams. i realize this did somewhat skew the % numbers. thank you for the insider insight

Anna: i took all of TCA's 52 teams from all of their Clubs across the country to arrive at their number of 15.3%. in my opinion if a club advertises "8" clubs having bids and those 8 are the sum total of all teams from a particular clubs efforts in 4 different states then i see no reason it should not be an apples to apples

in my mind, the point was to me two fold:
1) to find hot spots around the country that have extremely high JO Bid|Team percentages. it was very interesting to see the same states and even cities pop up over and over that have an abundance of very talented teams.

2) and to me this number is more meaningful than some total number of JO bids. for those club "shopping" its one thing to have a high number of qualified teams, but that number is some what then watered down by having an abundance of teams.

to so many people and to so many clubs its all about the JO numbers. i was just sharing the little homework i had done. for example if i were to have my DD sign up for KC Extreme it would be with the full knowledge that they recruit and build players for the purpose of qualifying and that the season would then entail the pursuit of that goal.

this also shows on paper, in a limited extent, some clubs philosophy, to have a split system. some clubs/teams compete on a national level some do not, thus you can make a decision about where you might want your DD to play at. in the end nothing can replace face time with the club owners or director about the direction and/or philosophy of the club and/or team you will be involved with

in my area of the country there were 2 clubs with names on that list, but to say that one club is "better" than another club just because the total number of JO bids was higher was in my opinion looking at the equation through rose colored glasses.
