I know this is a little early for this since club isn't done yet, but...
Last season, Rosati-Kain tied for 1st in the AAA Conference with Lutheran St.Charles, took 5th in State and Karen Fletcher, the head coach was honored as the
AAA Conference Volleyball Coach of the year, and now Rosati fires her. I guess doing a great job for two years doesn't count eh?

I thought state was the final 4. How do you figure 5th? Just curious.
Also, as to the firing, maybe there was a difference in where the program should be headed or possibly funding. I'm sure someone with more insight will clear this up. |

OK, how about tied for fifth, or one match short of the final four.
Word is that the Rosati administration was eager to install an alumna in the position. Unfortunately they did this in May rather than earlier so they pretty much took Karen out of any other high school openings in St. Louis. Nice foresight. |

Ah, the inner-workings of a private/parochial school. Go figure. Karen Fletcher is a class act and a great VB coach. Let's hope she lands somewhere, and
heck, maybe even get paid a little more (she never told her salary, we all just know that the privates pay a paltry salary to their overworked coaches). She
did a wonderful job with the RK girls. She will be a tough act to follow for whomever that lucky alum is......
