It was a busy recruiting week at Fusion as several players came off the board and found their college choices.

Class of 2008
  • 18 Black OH Bethany Prather (Belvidere HS) committed to Buffalo and will play for Jim Lodes in the fall. It was a long road for Prather who had shoulder surgery in the fall and has fought her way back into the mix for the 18s. Prather is a great get for Buffalo and will be a big piece of the puzzle in Lodes' building plan for the Bulls.
  • 18 Blue OH Sara Crowley (Hononegah HS) committed to University of Tennessee - Chattanooga.
  • 18 Orange DS/L Daphne Frey (Freeport HS) committed to St. Joseph's College in Indiana.
  • 18 Blue ST Kylee Miller (Keith Country Day) committed to Clarke College in Iowa.
  • 18 Blue MB Danielle Ostendorf (Boylan HS) committed to Indiana University of PA.
Class of 2009
  • 17 White ST Laura Homann (St. Charles East HS) committed to Syracuse.
Class of 2010
  • 16 Black OH Stephanie Holthus (Burlington Central HS) committed to Northwestern.
Congratulations to all of you on your choices! They all seem like great fits and you should have great careers in college! The 2008 class may go down as the deepest class Club Fusion has produced and I'm sure I've missed announcing a few commitments along the way.
