There are many club coaches starting new families. It is hard to find quality coaches and keep them once they start having families of their own. It would be great if each club, region, qualifiers, Jr. Olympics had a child care area, where coaches could have a space for their young ones to be watched over during matches. A space where the little ones could run around and play and not be stuck for the day, or days, watching and waiting on the side lines for their coaching parents to return (not easy for the toddlers!). I know space is an issue, but finding great coaches is even more of a challenge. Why not start a discussion to help find ways at these events to help the coaches out. Once a space was created for childcare at these events, we could have the older kids help keep the younger ones entertained......and maybe have a donation box and pay them....... hmmmm, incentive for young enterprising kids. Anyone out there want to share how they have been able to help theirs coaches with their young children during the season?
