Three sweeps and a four gamer are part of the Gold Bracket quarters. Cal Jrs, led by Jane Croson and Janisa Johnson, swept past Tampa Bay.
Kelly Reeves had the final kill in Wave's sweep over Sunshine. Long Beach defeated MAVS in 3. And Northern Lights got a Tori Dixon kill on match point to defeat Vision in four.
In 16 National, the final, between never say die Cincy Classics and bruising NorCal, will take place at 2.
Classics won both their quarterfinal and semifinal matches in three. led by setter Lauren Rohlfs and libero Emily Averbeck. NorCal used two big runs, one in the first set, one in the second, to down M1 in two. Grave Vickers and Malina Keaton played big roles in the win.
In 16 American, TAV Molten came from a set down to IPVA to win in three. McHaney Carter had a huge match in the middle for Molten.
They are playing the final shortly against Santa Barbara, which swept by East Carolina Juniors. Kelcey Soos did a nice job of directing the offense for Santa Barbara.
