Alas, it is not to be for Skyline. The next serves sails beyond the end line.
Austin Juniors, No. 1 in the country in this age group since Las Vegas, is the champion of the 17 Open division. Congrats to both teams!! |

Congrats to all the girls from both teams! What an outstanding year for both.
Specials congrats go out to the girls from Austin, though. I am a bit partial to the hometown girls.
Fun? You mean Volleyball is supposed to be fun??

The coaches at Virginia must be very happy as they are getting 2 players on the all tournament team.

....congrats also from the Midwest to the Texas teams and the 17Open Division! My goodness that was some very, very good volleyball and "Yes" I am
an expert!
The talent of the individuals incorporated into the complexity of the offenses and defenses was just exceptional...and with that, congrats to the coaches, programs, clubs and organizations acting as conduits to help these young athletes develop! Love the Austin Jrs. coach. Don't know how many times he "adjusted" his hat during the week but volleyball needs animation and "characters" from the coaches as well as their knowledge. |

I know that all-tourney teams have a lot to do with coaches' input, but I thought Molly Pon was deserving, too.
