Like my good friend Cr8zvball club has been fun and a great blessing of people who have become friends and help raise my kid. In order of appearance:

Jeff Curtis currently coaching for Rain City. He did not coach my daughter in club but he did in cyo. He has been responsible for getting a whole lot of young players both boys and girls introduced to the sport. Up beat fun and relates well to kids and is in it because he loves it.

The Hinkles Vickie, Cheryl and Dana. Now associated with Rain City. We met them and daughter played for them first club season. At that time they were at our local YMCA under the banner of the NSY. Coaching 13/14 year olds they were willing to add a teams that year to provide opportunities for the big number of young girls who showed up to try out. Rain City does a lot for a little and is a consistent gateway for boys into USVA. They have also be genuinely interested in my kid who no longer play for them which I think reveals a lot.

Andrew Ness, Dave Morehouse & Tina Brennan WVBA. Great coaches and people on and off the court. WVBA is a very professional club and through ECC I think builds a unique community atmosphere not only internally but with the greater volleyball community here. Again this whole community has been wonderful even after dd and another teamate decided that she wanted to try another rival club.

Dawn Colston, April Morse Kellie Ryan KJVBC. Great coaches and people. Very good at providing and applying the GM2 system. Which was a central reason our daughter decided to change clubs. She had been introduced to in HS and for her it really helped quantify and systematically improve her game. As a parent I would say the full blown white board share stats with the group from all practices and matches it may not be for every kid or parent. When she can home Sept of her freshman year with her mid term volleyball report that had more data than her mid term grade repot. Mom went "Toto, I guess were not in Kansas any more". But for when THEY decide the are ready for a really competitive environment it does work well to quantify and systematically make a player and a team more efficient & thus better. In addition KJ and its director and coaches really helped my kid and many others to clarify the whole college volleyball issue. Good at keeping the initiative on your daughter for recruiting with lots of great counsel advise and support and helping us connect to what might be good fits. Good at keeping assessments of talent and potential professional with colleges coaches and the player and good at standing by with wise cousel for you kid through the ups and downs of it with sage perspective.
Some coaches who are not coaching club at the moment but who also are absolutely tops in every way as coaches, individuals and women that you just want to put in front of your daughter as a role models at any time. Leslie Tuiasosopo and Joanne Gilligan-Uhl.
