If you want to argue a point at the very least back up your definition of "Most" and "Some." Is this opinion or fact that you are trying to express here? I've spoken to coaches that aren't JVDA members that referred to their region qualifier as "a joke" because of the absence of several top flight clubs/teams for that event. In a good number of regions the 3rd or 4th best teams will be heading to Dallas. Great Lakes and OVR are two that come to mind. Further, to paint the JVDA event as a 'come one, come all' event isn't terribly accurate as only JVDA members are allowed to participate. It's not always about the here and now, very often it's about the future.

It is my understanding that the clubs that are JVDA members who are also heading to Nationals this year will not be doing so next year. Joining a bit late in the game and then telling ones membership, "No Nationals" was something some people weren't willing to do and rightfully so. However, the caveat as explained to me, was that it was a one year grandfather clause.

Looking forward, the JVDA event won't be teams that "didn't qualify"it will be teams that aren't interested in being part of USAV's qualifier process. It is also my understanding that the JVDA is moving towards a qualifying process but not of the same model that USAV uses.

The college coaches I know will be in Louisville. They know where the talent is and they don't care who the event is being run by. They will be in Florida as well. They have a job to do, not sides to pick.
