I'm not sure how long this special will last but you can currently buy a one day adult pass (reg $39.99) for the child price of $24.99. Groups of 15 or more are $19.99. And if you have a Six Flags near your home, the website says that a season pass ($49.99) is good at 15 other Six Flags parks. Joe's Crab Shack is on the river as well as Tumbleweed (Mexican), Spagetti Factory, Hard Rock Cafe, Kingfish and Rocky's (across the river in Indiana). Others???????

Is that because the few team attending or the size of the available facility? Do like the honesty of the JVDA in posting the below on their website: *"1st Annual JVDA Championships will be held in Louisville, KY June 27-30. Join the JVDA member clubs and take part in the* *strongest Jr. tournament in the United States outside of the USA Jr. National Championship."*

Another explanation would be the format for the matches. What will it be? Fun? You mean Volleyball is supposed to be fun??

This thread concerns things to do and places to go while in Louisville. If you would have clicked on the links I so easily provided you would have seen that the KEC has over a million sq feet of prime exhibition space space - TWICE that of Salt Lake City. So yes, even JO's could be held there and done in 4 days. Honesty? It's what the JVDA has been about all along. All of the card out in the open for all to see, unlike some organizations. And I'm glad you agree with the assessment that the JVDA Championship is the strongest Jr. tournament outside of the USAV championship. Not a bad claim for a first year tournament that hasn't even happened yet. Now back to to the purpose of this thread - Things to do while in Louisville! Louisville has a triple A baseball team (Riverbats) that has a game scheduled for the 26th at 7:00

The Louisville Slugger Bat Factory tour is always worth checking out. Especially if you have never been there.

Churchill will be running with post times starting at around 3pm on Friday and around 130 on Sat and Sunday.... With admission at just 3 dollars!

How did you leap from a simple observation and question, add your own interpetation that it was a negative, and therefore posted only to to start a debate? The link does indeed provide information about the facility but in no way defines what percentage the Championship will utilize. Ever been to an NQ where there is more than just the volleyball going on? And heaven forbid a thread should not stay on topic through every post. Have a great time in L'Ville. Simply go to the Louisville Visitor Bureau's Website and type in the days your interested in and it'll display all events, concerts, athleitc events, tours, etc. for that time period. They are not allowed as carry on and they will confiscate. They have containers full of the little bats at check in as a reminder. See y'all there!
