Another factor would be the amount of years the recruited player was in the club's program. Many clubs take "credit" for a players success when in fact the player only spent one or two years in the club's program, meaning a lot of other people along the way help that recruit with only the club where the player was at time of recruitment receiving the recognition.
A better calcualtion might be:
(Year's spent in the club) X (Cost per year)
-------------------------------------
(Amount of Scholarship received)
That would provide a "return on parental investment"......and determine for us which business (club) is of most bang for the buck.
