In what way? I admire the guy for what he has done. I think it was good for volleyball in the NW that he stayed in town and from talking to several girls that have worked with him, he is doing a good job. Very few college coaches that get fired stick around, especially when they aren't originally from the area and did not go to that school.

And as far as starting a club, I couldn't disagree with you more. I've talked to him about it, and he likes that he is unbiased in his approach to coaching. He isn't affiliated with any club in any way, and that is why so many clubs are represented in his gym. I don't forsee teams running practices in his gym either as it takes a bit of restructuring to make that happen.

He isn't bitter about his experience at UW. He always has an open door at his gym if anyone wants to meet him, or talk volleyball with him. I have gain plenty as a coach just in working with him at his gym.

In response to VK, I don't think there is any reason for Tony to just step down from his position. He is just as qualified for the junior director position, and works hard in what he does. Again, I see both as being good candidates.
