I was wondering the same thing. It isn't listed on Advanced Event
Systems and I can't remember the names of other places to look for it. |

I'm assuming you are referring to the 18's division. Sure would have been nice if the Inland 18's had not disbanned (ok 4 lousy teammates quit and
dropped the rest of their team). They had a legitimate shot to take the 18 bracket. They had the highest finish of all the Florida 18's at any of the
qualifiers!
Other brackets as reported in bits and pieces: 15's: OVA wins over Champions (Champions sends 3 teams to JO's in it's 2nd year as a club) 16: Treasure Coast (I believe) moved on to the final match--but not sure who against |

Tampa United 18s did win regionals. They were seeded 5th, but beat Boomers, then OVA then Gainesville on Sunday. During the season they beat Inland twice and
once was at Big South. Inland finished higher at Big South because their first match on Sunday was against USA South and they won and TU played TCA Pink and
lost. Good playing by the entire TU team this weekend!!

May Tampa United do well at JO's. They deserve the win and the accolades.

Hey I forgot to mention that there were two TU 18s teams this year. The one that won Regionals finished 11th at Big South and 11th at Northern Lights. The
other TU 18s played Lone Star and finished 31st. I'm not sure what their record was against Inland. I think that TU lost each time they played Inland.
But you're right, Inland had a great team loaded with talent so too bad they decided their season was over. They would have earned a bid I'm sure!

Why is it that Florida is the last region to hold a qualifier? If you look at the USA website LINK, there are six divisions posted as not final. They all are waiting on the results of the Florida
regional (still not posted).
This completely eliminates any of the other Florida teams from earning reallocation bids, as they are already assigned. |

Reallocation bids were divied up more than a week ago and the timing of FL regionals has no effect on them...

Are you saying that the Florida teams that didn't earn bids at regionals would not get any reallocation bids anyway even if their regionals had been earlier? |

First congrats to all the teams that earned bids this weekend. Yes by having the our Regional tournament so late we lost any chance of getting reallocation
bids. It would have been a long shot in the 14 thou. 18's division. That's why the 12 and 13's were switched at the last minute because we had a
better chance in those divisions....Inland Fan Tampa United 18-2 competed in Houston not there first team....Directionally Challanged you are not totally
corrected. TU is Sandspurs renamed, its not a new club. TU's 18-1 is Tampa Bay Jrs 17 Blk from last year that finished 2nd in the American division at
JO's. Regardless congrats to the team.

Lot's of confusioning facts! (check out the Big South head to head TU 18 Jeff beat Inland 18-1, TU 18 Jeff beat Inland 18-1 in the TU Kick-off Classic
and FL Power League as well!)
Record in competition: Tampa United 18 Jeff vs Inland 18-1 (3-0) Tampa United 18 Jeff is clearly the 18 National JO bid winners without a doubt!!! I am sure TU 18 Jeff would have loved the competition though! |
