I'm assuming you are referring to the 18's division. Sure would have been nice if the Inland 18's had not disbanned (ok 4 lousy teammates quit and dropped the rest of their team). They had a legitimate shot to take the 18 bracket. They had the highest finish of all the Florida 18's at any of the qualifiers!


Other brackets as reported in bits and pieces:
15's: OVA wins over Champions (Champions sends 3 teams to JO's in it's 2nd year as a club)
16: Treasure Coast (I believe) moved on to the final match--but not sure who against

Houston Qualifier:

Inland finished 10th
Tampa United finished 31st.

Just stating the facts---but the BIGGEST fact----is both teams were 1st year teams---and Tampa United did a fantastic job of fielding a team that was commited to play. Although it's no failing on the part of the Inland staff, the parents and those 4 girls should be ashamed. They let their team down and these are the same girls that spearheaded the effort to form the team, only to drop them in the end. Character Counts!

May Tampa United do well at JO's. They deserve the win and the accolades.
