...the calculation addresses total USAV membership and qualifed teams. It does not, nor can not, project the "what ifs" concerning teams that chose not to qualify...but again that was addressed in an initial post that only USAV teams attending JOs would, or could, be addressed in future VBREPORTER postings.

My exceptionall expertise resides with USAV teams, not the others. To request me to comment or project on the others would be comparable to a hockey reporter covering ballet. I can only deal with facts as a true testosterone breathing male.

In essence, your question is inflammatory, unanswerable and irrelevant. VBREPORTER does not address effects or agendas of the organizations other than USAV.

What you're asking for is a calculation on "intent" with your hypothesis being that the sole purpose of USAV teams traveling is to qualify. I'm good, but not good enough to read the minds of club directors and coaches as to why they scheduled NQs at the beginning of the season.

However, if the sole intent was to qualify, then each team would attend NQs only until a bid is received. That is simply not the case and a point continually missed by many. As an example, if your hypothesis was accurate, there would never have been eight previously qualified teams in 17Open at Far West two weekends ago, correct?

The threads and information posted by VBREPORTER (again) are for the benefit, interest, and discussion of USAV member teams that are attending JOs. There will be no "what-ifs", "what-about", "would've, could've, should've" due to splinter organizations….we've moved on!
