AAU Question |

For those of you that have been to AAU Nationals before I am trying to find out approximately what time the tournament would be done on the 19th. I am trying
to figure out if I can get a flight out that night after the tournament.

Jeff, I don't remember the exact time but it seemed in keeping with the NQ's and most of our parents flew back to Houston that night. We stayed and
drove to Daytona (90 minutes or so) and it was dusk when we got there.

I had the same question and I was told last year the championships on the last day of our division was scheduled and played at 7:00pm. Personally I'm
leaving early on the day after our event.

The AAU link listed in Ukie1's post is for 2007. The scheduled times for the championships may be different for 2008.

It might be the same but I didn't want anyone making plans based on that schedule.
If you get it all figured out....let the rest of us know....life that is! |

Well... for starters - don't speed on the freeway or yell POINT at a vb match.

According to my source at AAU's you can pretty much schedule your week based on last years schedule......I know it isn't good to burn an extra night at a hotel, but would you rather be playing for the championship or wondering what was going on while you waited at the airport??? |
