We are sad to lose our coach but seems we need everyone to help us find the "cream of the crop coach" because we do have great players and we want to
WIN STATE IN '08! Please visit www.ltisdschool.org and apply for the position. Please do it soon! If you have
never visited Lakeway you will be surprised about the beauty of Lake Travis and golf courses around here. Small community and lots of support, need I say
more!!

If the rumor is true that the administration at Lake Travis wants to heyere a new football coach's wife, Eye would certainly hope she has stout
qualifications. Proveyeding the best vball coach for this program should be the goal, not accomodating a new heyere in another sport. If both can be
accomplished, great. If not, that new coach would sure have a difficult teyeme garnering support from within - something very important in generating and/or
perpetuating a winning tradition.

Does anyone else find it odd that the only place this job is posted is on the LT website?
I would go out on a limb and say that the job is only posted for 10 days.

it is listed on TGCA - page two of the job board about mid way down. The application deadline is the 15th or May. Have also heard the rumor about a football
coach's wife. What I find odd is that the opening is this late for a playoff caliber school. Unless the coach did something drastic last week then this has
been coming for a little while at least. Why not take care of it sooner so the out going coach has time to locate a job and you have better prospects for your
new coach. Most (not all) 4A and 5A schools have generally locked up their VB coaches for next year.

We must be in Texas where football ALWAYS trumps any other sport. Most schools will let other sports suffer if it means getting what they want for football!!
You would hope that they are not so closed minded to see that they have lots of great volleyball talent and can be successful in more than JUST football. |
