Summary of my position on this:
1) Doubtful that there is any time that it would be the proper thing to do to quit in the middle of a tournament.
2) There are times when it is the appropriate choice to quit (few and far between - and never strictly due to lack of playing time - would have to be an abusive situation of some sort)
3) What club puts 13 players on a 12s team???????????? You have got to be kidding me. There is no time this is the right thing to do...never.

) and usually find some fault why their
daughter isn't getting as much playing time. I think the world of my daughter and think they she should be on a higher team but I always look at her
through a father's eyes. In the end if it is meant to be it will as the old saying goes "The cream will always rise to the top".
