lugnut58 many of these teams/clubs have used AAU Nationals as a warm up for JO's in the past. If they are not going to JO's I would assume they would
still go to AAU's.

trux, are you saying that anybody can attend the jvda championship, even if you didnt go thru there qualifing process ? if i understand you correctly anybody
can just sign up and go ? i dont know the process thats why im asking.

Yes, both AAU Nationals and JVDA are open events that do not require you to "qualify" to attend. Our club has sent the travel teams that don't
qualify for JO's to AAU's for the past few seasons. It is a very well attended event, with a strong contingent of teams from Puerto Rico as well as
plenty of competitive US teams. As I mentioned many of the top clubs use this as their pre-JO warm up.
