I missed that! How can the region let the clubs get away with that?
Tell you what, why don't we just allow some of our teams to play 7 girls on the court during next years Prime Time Tournaments? It's great cause more girls will get to play and it's just a technical rules violation anyway. |

I don't condone what they did at all but it is a technicality. Lawyers use it all the time to let murders go free. According to USAV they are Narrows not Power Surge. They just still have a lot of Power Surge spirit and their old uniforms. |

The guy I'm running against (John Littleman) is never at meetings and rarely contributes anything positive anyway. I hear a lot of good ideas and suggestions on here that I would love to pass on. NW 16 Storm won D1 Silver!
 Cascade Blue was second.
UP lost to WVBA 16's in 3. 15-12 I think. May have been 11. Notable loss (or win) of the day...SWVBC beat Sudden Impact in the gold division!

I have watched a lot of u12 &u13 matches this year seems to me that PSVB, UPVBC & OLY all have cheers and fans who cheer and even abuse the refing
teams. It is amazing that the adults are still pointing the finger at certain teams. And for the putting seven on the court I am sure some teams could win with
four on!

As why I find the "Power Surge" cheer so objectionable: Power Surge was sanctioned for this year for using coaches that had not undergone [or had failed, not sure which, but I sure hope it was "not undergone"] the required WSP background check. As such they were prohibited from playing in qualifiers and going to Nationals. So, in order to get around the sanction, they "combined" with Narrows and played under the "Narrows Power Surge" banner.However, their uniforms say "Power Surge". Their bags say "Power Surge". Their website says "Spanaway Volleyball Club" and "Power Surge" [and the "Narrows" website only talks about the real Narrows teams]. And their cheers are "Power Surge". Never "Narrows" in any of that. |
