I think they played Open in every Qualifier they went to, so they didn't acquire a bid in the Club Division.
The timeline isn't right for AVA to be awarded a reallocation bid at this particular moment, so being given an At-Large in Open is the most logical answer because it does fit the correct timeline.

That list also has Victory 17 Elite on it erroneously. They have qualified in the American division, not in Open. They do not play in Open, only in Club.

That is not an official list of teams who have qualified. That list is for those who have applied for it. If the team qualified in the national or american
division, it would state "Yes". For those teams who applied to the National/American division, but have qualified in open, it would also state
"Yes" in that list of National/American teams. Relative Youngster's explanation is correct.

AVA 17 Asics are not on the LS Regionals schedule anymore...I guess that is confirmation enough of them receiving one of the bids?
Must be that USAV met their terms and granted them the "appearance fee" :-) So now it isn't the Texas team that is holding everything up. |

Why have they still not posted 17 OPEN???
Why is every other division done but not this one? It doesn't seem to make sense, especially since the other ones have been up for a few days now! Anyone know what's going on? |

This is from one of the coach his team is in the Mix for Atlarge bid. Teams were ask to submit their overall records and teams they played. I guess, there are
a lot of good 17's out there with good argument for those 3 bids.

thanks for responding to my question. I think all the girls playing in the 17 age group are amazing. The competition has been so fun to watch this year. My
daughter is playing up an age group with the 17s and she has learned so much by watching the girls on her team and other teams. Congratulations to all the
teams that qualified for the 17 open division. Our team didn't qualify for the Open division but we will be playing in the National division. It's
all good.
