Interesting name. Please go back and reread my original post on the topic, It is titled "Teams We Have Played".

Invasion wasn't on that list because we haven't played you. Though we did beat your 18s in a scrimmage. 8-) Wave wasn't on that list because we haven't played them. Skyline wasn't on the list because that is my daughters team. What was included was a list of notable teams that my daughter had played over the season where I tried to say something nice about each.

Then bigtex asked me where I would rank Skyline. So, rather than say 2 or 3 or 4 I tried to avoid a debate and just said top 6 and named the other teams that I thought had separated themselves from the pack. Thus the genesis of "the 2AuldForThis 6". :AJV, Skyline, TAV, Wave, Epic, Vision

That's the point you entered upon the scene with your Invasion panties in a wad, amazed that someone would omit Invasion from a list as august as the "2AuldForThis 6". You insinuated that I knew nothing of volleyball...should read some articles etc etc. Frankly as I said in my original post, I have only seen some teams briefly. Invasion is one of those.

So, insulted, I had to go do a little research and found that your record v "the 6" is 0-2 and the reason we didn't get to see you is because TAVs second team and "the 6" member AJV sent you to the bronze bracket at Lone Star. For all I know Invasion could do very well. They have all those scholarships you talk about. They look the part in spandex.......but if you want to be in "the 6" you have to prove you can beat "the 6"

I hope we can continue to discuss 17 open which should be fun, maybe we can even say hello in Dallas but I am done debating 'the 6". It is my opinion. I'd be happy to see the Bookworm 6 or 7 or 12.

My ratings for seeding purposes of teams we have played. No science, no stats, just impressions. A little unfair as some teams I get to see often and others only once but its just for fun so....

Qualified Teams
1. AJV Mizuno...don't know what happened this weekend. Prior to that they have been dominant against a strong schedule. Their setter makes them go. Best 17 MB I have seen.
2. TAV Asics...Very big at MB . Can serve you really tough.
3. Epic...very quick and strong. Dug everything, at least yesterday. Nice parents too.
4. Tornados...slipped at Lone Star but a team you don't want in your pool when the are on. Huge
5. Northern Lights....another strong set of MBs...perhaps a pattern emerges.
6. Vision...record would indicate a higher rating. Only saw them once a long time ago. Maybe a bad day.
7. SCVC...scrappy...will not go away.
8. Gold Cal...a loud and memorable match.
9. WVBA...blocked my daughter better than anyone we played.
10. KJ...how were they ever made a 2 seed, day 1 at Vegas?
11. Dallas Jrs....better watch out for the setter dumps and the setter kills
10. Extec...another big middle
11. Sports Shack...I'd rate them higher except my ears are still ringing. Very deceptive hitters.
12. 951....so long ago I can't remember things very well ...especially after a late night in Vegas
13. Renaissance...the tallest middle we faced

Teams not qualified
1. AVA ...really use their middles well as attackers
2. Cincy Classics...very solid all around.

Special Recognition
1. Durham Attack....a 3 seed at Vegas. We were expecting a team from NC that should have been playing club. What we got was an early wake up call from a bunch of tough Canadians. The setter was the scrappiest player I saw all year.
2. Jammers....Going JVDA? Dig like no one else.
