I agree those top 6 are really good!!! I think we are going to see some very good battles in 17 open at JO`s. I hope it is a North Texas team that brings home
the gold! or another Texas team would be fine with me also!

Remember the Alamo....I mean Reliant Stadium | ||
My only chance to observe was at the last invasion of Texas which was almost as successful as that of Santa Anna. You have to give me credit though, I made the effort to walk over to the silver bracket at Lone Star to take a look. Honest question to which I do not know the answer, do they have any wins against my 6. If so what is their overall record? |

OK---so tossing my team under the bus: VBBOOKWORM: what is your analysis of OVA 17 Asics? I won't be offended by anything. I've only been to one event
this season, so I appreciate input--although as we all know---it really doesn't matter what is said here----the girls still have to go and prove it and
work it out on the court!

I didn't realize the "2AuldForThis Top 6"...would be such a big deal. Almost like Charles Barkley's 5. Does give me some perspective on the
mail John Tawa must get.
I guess I should create some formal guiding principles for "the 6". The first one will be that you must have a win v "the 6" to be in "the 6". Failing that, finishing ahead of one of "the 6" at a qualifier might be considered. So if I let you in I will have to let TAV Molten in and you can imagine all the flack I will get for letting a second team in. You know, Texas bias, JVDA effect, all that. Pretty soon all the national division teams will be mad at me. People are going to expect me to attend regionals this weekend. That's just too much for a simple dad and I really need to catch up on some golf and yard work So until I have time to read some more articles as you suggest or see something at AAU "the 6" is "the 6". I've seen where some have mentioned last year's performance; what does that have to do with this year's seeding? Just wondering. As a parent this
will be my third Open as a fan and it's been fun to see some old names and some new names. Kind of like college football/basketball.
It will come down to record against the field won't it? |

Team needs consistency, imagine that from a 17 JRVB team as they can both get points and give up points in bunches. I think a Top-10 finish at JOs is a good team goal. Right now, I'd pick them in the 13-17 range. |
