Mizuno 15R placed (6th) at LA Qual. / Mavericks finished (7th) in that open division. Also, Mizuno 15R took (5th) at Crossroads in club div. out of 127 teams.
That Long Beach team has placed solidly in both qualifiers.

Nebraska Elite will have a strong case. They finished 4th at Colorado Crossroads and lost a third game to KC Power today (at the Lights qualifier) 16-14
that would have given them an open bid if they had won.

I think that Nebraska Elite has to be #1 in line for an at-large, and I still think they are probably one of the top 10 teams in this age group. Next in line
I would probably say that Mavericks and Northern Lights will probably be right behind them.

Nebraska Elite finished 3rd today in a tough pool at Northern Lights. They are out of contention for a bid at this qualifier. Does this finish hurt their
chances for an at-large berth? or does the 4th at crossroads alone get them a bid?

Tampa Bay & Ascis Mavs will qualify at Northern Lights because 4 of the 6 team left have already qualified so this takes Tampa
out of the running for the at large bid. Mavericks and Nebraska Elite could both get at large bids.
Although Mizuno 15R may be a contender, I think it will hurt that they only played Open in one qualifier. |

Mizuno Long Beach 15R, is not an open team. Very good, especially for a 2's squad but no way they should be in the open division. |

Team Atlantis finished 4th at MEQ & won the OVR bid tourney (ahead of Cincy classics both times). At MEQ, they defeated St Louis CYC, the eventual
tournament winner, in route to being undefeated in the first two days.

Shoes, you are right, LB 15 R is not an Open team. However, they have been competitive against many of the open teams already qualified, including the 2 that
may win the Farwestern bids. The 2 teams who will probably compete for one at large bid were both defeated by LB Runbird. (Coast and Mavericks)
What will be a shame, is if the LB team does not even get a region club bid. The team is certainly a little inconsistent hitting the ball, but they have improved all year and deserve to be in Dallas. Many SCVA teams not getting club or region bids, are much better than teams from other regions who get to participate. Something should be done to eliminate the first day wipe-outs of many teams. |

Looks like all three bids will be given out at Far Western; of the eight teams left in gold, only three teams have already qualified - the five that are still
trying to qualify are San Gabriel, Mavericks, City Beach, Skyline, and Vision.
And with two bids being given out at Northern Lights, there will be four at-large bids. |

I would assume that it is the Vision from California.
