I think your view of "players" who don't know or care how much a club season costs seems slightly jaded. And very few girls I have met
especially at this level would purposely tank a game. A coach could not make a sub, or not rotate around on serve to protect a weak defensive player. But a
coach would have to have a really strong hold on his or her team to get them to tank a game on purpose. Not saying it can't be done but everyone at this
level wants to win

If you know for a "FACT," could you please share the facts with us? It appears to me that you are basing your opinion on emotion not facts. If you know something we don't we'd for you to share it with us. I think that is what we have been asking from the Power organization since this event occurred. |

What do you know that we don't know? I will say that I am not sure of the facts. So, if you know "for a fact", please share the facts with us. If you don't have facts, then surely you have to allow for the possibility that this KC Power coach might have done what many eyewitnesses allege. |

Okay enough already- FACT--Yes we passed up SLOW-New post and daughter while I was going a maybe a little too fast ( after-all he is old enough to drive like a

Sunday at 1 at HOA during adult male regionals ( Yes kids adults do play USAV volleyball too) Mavs 17-2 is playing Springfeild Juniors for the --maybe
-almost -you can never be quite sure
LAST HOA American bid to Nationals!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes you read it right because of ALL the trickle downs etc. 2 of the 4 teams tied for 5th
place regional teams will have a one match ( 2 out of 3 sets) to see which one goes to Dallas!
gnaw on that for a while! Bye for now I am headed to UCM to watch the last Spring VBall at 4:30 today! I promise not to speed this time --the Lone Jack men in Blue already got my hubby last fall !! |

...your correct C-line there are four teams that tied for 5th at regionals so a playoff is necessary to get that last American bid. Guess I didn't scroll
down enough on the HOA results site. Did only two of the four teams want to go to Nationals so that's why all four don't have to included in the
playoff? Or was it some head-to-head decision dreamed up by Hank at night after a pepperoni pizza? Don't readily see where we got another American Bid
unless some team above 5th place said No Thank-You or the Region received a Reallocation Bid.

Well right after I wrote that reply to you we got an email from our caoch and it said they do NOT have the bid YET --but they are anticipating one more --from
some where BUT anyay we will still play this sunday so that if and when the bid comes to HOA they will know who gets it. As for why only 2 of the 4 tied teams
are playing for a spot --might be because of the deadline --you had to have already sent in your request and I guess money to want to go to Nationals to even
be concidered for a bid. Does that sound right former club director??

I want to congrat the Power 15 team for winning the open division at the Northern Lights Tournament today. I am really proud of the strong showing that all
the teams from the HOA region are making at the Qualifier Tournaments. It says something about how tough our girls play and how determined our girls are to
win.
