Regional entries were due 4/1.
as of 4/7, here are the number of teams/age group for the Gold/Silver: 12s-18 teams 13s- 23 teams 14s- 25 teams 15s- 27 teams 16s- 32 teams 17s- 14 teams 18s- 16 teams I'm a little surprised the 17s are the smallest group.... NC, you're correct--16 18s teams, not 20.

Sometimes you just have to step away and take time for yourself. Coaches need breaks just as much as the players, sometimes more. It was just what the doctor ordered. As usual though back to the grind after a few weeks off we're headed to Houston this weekend for what I'm hoping will be a good showing. Have some players back from injury and one that is finally starting to find her swing after being out from a big back injury. Hopefully the girls can pull together after being out of competition for a while. I'll keep you posted on how things go. Congrats to all the gateway teams that have already qualified, and good luck to those trying to make it. |

I know that Rockwood 16's and 18's will be ther this weekend. With more players back from injury hopefully the 18's will have a good showing. The
16's should do well since they are playing a little more care free with already having a bid. Should be a fun weekend with some good volleyball.

Is the SWIC IM gym air-conditioned? What about Lindenwood-Belleville? Is a 4 team pool on Saturday an advantage (vs. the much, much longer 5 teamer?) Is an airconditioned site on Day 1 an advantage? rhetorical questions, all.... |
