In 2007, her first year on varsity, the 6-6 junior from Durango High was her state's Gatorade Player of the Year. Left-handed and a force on the right side, Spelman still is young in volleyball years. She is good now but will get oh so much better. A great pick up for the Cardinal for 2009. Congrats!

Keep it up! We can't wait to see you suit up for the Cardinal and bring your passion for volleyball to Maples! She will also continue to work with her coach, Bob Kelly, during the week.
