Any teams travel to the LSC in Houston being affected by the cancelled American Airlines flights?

I guess it is a blessing that Lonestar is in Houston this week (major hub for Continental) and not Dallas (major hub for American). That will definitely limit
the impact. If everyone had been trying to get to Dallas, well, have fun with that

AA cancellations to Houston | ||

AA has cancelled 2 of its 3 scheduled Chicago-Houston flights today. The one they are planning to operate is also an MD-80, but it must be one of the
aircraft they already fixed.
AA is trying to put affected travellers on other flights, even other airlines if necessary. So hopefully there will be no impact on teams coming to
Houston. The challenge is to try to get AA to rebook people when their customer service capabilities are overwhelmed. Yesterday more than 100,000 AA
travellers had their flights cancelled and today there is likely to be an equal number.

My husband is stuck in TX as we speak............oh well, I guess I get the whole bed AND THE REMOTE for one more night....hehehe

Man, if anyone gets caught up in this mess I really do feel for you. My daughter's team was caught up in a similar fiasco this summer heading to JOs. The
girls were supposed to leave on Thursday....next available flight within US was on Saturday. Just a tad late to get to JOs. So, we drove from NC to MN. An
adventure in itself. Hopefully no one else will have to do the same!

Good luck to all the teams trying to make it. My daughter has had a year from hell trying to get back and forth from her home to ours for holidays, etc. She
doesn't really care if she ever sees the inside of Memphis airport again and is looking for a job a bit closer.....wish her luck!

...just arrived in Houston. Due to AA cancellations, our BOOKED! hotel was full of airliner passegers waiting for flights....SOOOO they booted us over to some
other hotel that wasn't very nice...scrambling for find another hotel as I type.
