I doubt I can appeal to everyone in this, and that is not my intention. But when my team, or assistant coaches get slammed I take it personally. Here's what I see:
-anger about Tony walking across the court in a match
-anger about the food thing
-anger about the old lady who cut you off yesterday
I don't need anyone to stand up for this team. I'm a firm believer in letting your play speak for itself.
As head coach the idea was presented to me to have the team area in the back corner behind the bleachers. It seemed like it would be out of the way and would provide for more room to the other teams in the lobby. I wondered if it would have created a stir, and a couple times I had to get on my girls for not respecting the area. I don't think I would agree to it in the future, and I'm sorry that it freaked so many people out. Not sure why.
I think the issue with Tony walking across the court has been explained. It was a rule clarification that extended from the previous match, as well as the coaches meeting. Yes, he is my assistant, but he was also the tournament director. The upref asked HIM to come to her to clarify. Any issues with that should be addressed to the upref, not Tony.
I think VKorchnoi said this

While typing my observations I just read your reply to KJfan3 as well as some of your other posts- you must truly be one of the most arrogant people on the whole darn board. Geez, lighten up. Merely because the person doesn't agree with your post does not warrant your condescending attitude.
Or should I have written that more s-l-o-w-l-y ? Go have lunch with Tony and cool off. "
In spite of your juvenile response to "dewnorth", she still apologized...without further comment. I think you owe her one as well, because you seem to have difficulty yourself responding to something in a proper manner. Just my thought.
All things aside, I do feel like there was more attack than congrats to a team which has worked hard, and did play well on Sunday. I have nothing but respect for WVBA, KJ, and PSVBC. They have very strong 15's teams, and have shown many successes this year. But Sunday was NW 15's day to shine and they did. STOP TAKING THAT AWAY FROM THEM BY USING THEIR SUCCESS AS A SOUNDING BOARD FOR YOUR ISSUES WITH TONY MIRANDA.
This is not the forum for that. If you have a problem with him, his contact information is all over the northwest juniors website. He can defend himself, but I will say that he has a thankless job, and this region is run very well. I won't say he's perfect, no one is, but he tries hard to bring quality volleyball to this region, on top of running a club that has given 240 girls the chance to play volleyball this year.
If you're going to congradulate my team, do it without a 'but tony this' or 'but they had food' or 'no food in dallas'. It shows something other than sincere appreciation for good play. And I must say there was a lot of good play from a lot of teams on Sunday.
I hope this can put things to rest. I'd hate to see it if any of the players saw their parents or coaches involved in this.
Thank you for your time.
