okie dokie, but the 40th and 41st lines on the team list on AES still reflect "drops". Surely, there are at least 2 teams out there on the waiting
list that would love to get in.

I'll go out on a limb here & say that the 4th, 5th & 6th place finishing spots will be the most important due to the
trickle down. I don't know if 1-3 will remain as is, but I am confindent it will comprise of those three teams. However, it is being said from various
opinion makers that this is the toughest 16 Open field at a qualifier to date this year. I am ready for a barn burner this weekend!

i would agree with LS...this field is the toughest to date, however Northern Lights will most likely be the toughest of the year with 6 possibly 7 teams
already qualified in Open...and SoCal is probably a close second...have yet to see any Cal teams outside of Sunshine or Long Beach...we played Beach in a great
match and i look to them to grab one of the 3 spots this weekend

I'm not so much afarid of being wrong. I just don't know where to begin since there are so many variables in Club.
Open should be somehwat easier to call "if" all the teams play as usual. If not, then expect some of the favorites to go down. I think the top seeds will hold true, but I'll be brave and predict at least one of the top 5 gets bumped for an upset. Who will it be? 1. Young Guns 16-1 2. TAV 16 Asics 3. TX Tornados 16 Mizuno 4. Amarillo Elite 161 5. AsicsWillowbrook 16Red |

I will be the first to talk about 16 Club...
AP Stealth wil not make it to top 8. Challenge bracket # 16 will decide a final four contestant. I pick Legacy vs 900 Mizuno. In a highly contested match I pick Legacy. TAV molten will lose in Gold bracket and not get a bid despite their overall seed going in. Woodlands Stars will have a tough challenge match vs a low seeded Assault Kaepa team. toss up on that one. I pick Tornados Teal to upset TAV Advantage in round 2 pool and become the 9 overall going in to challange bracket. More to come... where are yours... |

I think that they will have a very tough time getting by the # 16 seed in the first round of Gold. 900 Mizuno and Legacy match will give Alamo Kaepa a tough match. I am the only person in this tournament picking this upset if one of these two teams are playing against them in the first round of the Gold Bracket. I'm all in... |

Alamo - based on Tour performance; no info on any qualifiers Woodlands Stars - based on Crossroads performance; stronger than AP Stealth Venetian Bay - unknown but will give benefit to seeding Southwest - based on NEQ performance; TAV finished 9th |

If Alamo and Woodlands Stars make it through challenge and gold first round, they'll play each other. IMO that's your championship match. Whichever
one loses, though, will come up empty as far as bids are concerned. That proves the seeding problem.
However, don't forget about Southwest,Victory and Venetian Bay. Venetian Bay got fourth at Crossroads. And, we all know that Southwest qualified last weekend. So. . . I pick top four in no particular order Woodlands Stars, Venetian Bay, Alamo and . . . Southwest. |
