I found both articles on the SCVA Qualifier overwhelmingly focused on SoCal teams. Did any teams play in the tournament from outside the region? (rhetorical
question, I know there were many). Why is there no mention of other teams and players? I found the coverage of Colorado Crossroads much more balanced.

I believe the reporter wrote about one out of area team, but reality is this qualifier had a massive California flavor.
For example, 75% of the 18 Open teams were from California, including 85% of the top 20. |

I agree that there were a large number number of teams there from California. But those outside of Southern California got little, if any, coverage.
