MAVS are not at Xroads this weekend, they are in Indy for MEQ.
My top picks are pretty simple. Rockwood, Young Guns, and Front Range. I also think Central Cal could be there in the end if they are close to the same team as they were last year at Nationals. No matter what it should be an interesting and competitive weekend. I just hope the weather is nice in Denver. I absolutely love the city. vballr |

Last year Amarillo finished 3rd in Colorado. They are seeded #22, if they are as good as last year they could be the dark horse. Also Central Cal is not
ranked here on Prep VB, but they are strong this year. I believe Young Guns, Rockwood, Skyline should do very well.

JT 3 surprise teams faired well today at Crossroads 16 Open
Both Sports Shack and AZ Juniors beats #2 seeded Skyline. High Country beat Rockwood. Also Dallas Jrs. beat San Gabriel. All are headed to the top half except Skyline, tough draw to get 2 of the 3 surprise teams in your pool.

No doubt out of a sense of modesty, lawless has neglected to mention that East Valley Juniors has made it through to Division 1, in Pool 2 with Sports Shack,
Club Red (another Arizona team) and IPVA.
May the force be with you tomorrow! |

Pretty good seeding for the Colorado 16Open, except for Shack and Amarillo.
16 Open seeding 1. Young guns - Finished as seeded 1st 2. Skyline - Too bad they were in a tough pool with a severely under seeded Sport Shack 161 team 3. Central Cal - Great team which was in a three team tie with SG Elite and Amarillo. They beat both SG Elite and Amarillo in playoff matches. 2nd They should be top 15 in the country now with their performance. 4. Empire - Finished in top 12 5. Front Range -Finished 4th. When they are "on", they are very difficult to beat. 6. TCA Ca - Had a great tournament and beat Rockwood in the tournament along with a few other notables 7. San Gabriel - Finished 2nd in all three days... Beat HIC, Amarillo, IPVA, but couldn't pull it off against Central. 8. Rockwood thunder - Had some bumps and bruises along the way, but won the match that counted the most against FRange. 9.Colo Jrs. - Finished top 15. 10. Webfoot Jrs. 11. Nike NW 12 AZ East Valley Jrs. |

Great tournament! Teams competed hard to secure a open bid for JO's. Crossroads did do a good job with the seeds.
