Please take a look at the list below.

These are 52 varsity-playing freshmen in 2010 who deserve mention in our Frosh 59 list or honorable mentions, but for whom I do not have complete information.

I have complete information for 120 other freshmen but for these 52 information is lacking.

If you know any of the freshmen on the list below, please contact the player's HS coach and ask him or her to e-mail [email protected] ASAP with the player's name, height, position, 2010 stats and accolades and a sentence or two describing her impact on the team and skill set.

Time is of the essence, as the Frosh 59 will be published tomorrow morning.

Horizon Freshmen (not from Desert Mountain)

Sierra Nobley was an Outside (6'3") played for Horizon High School, which won 5A-II in Arizona. Another Freshmen on that team is Tess Clark. Tess is a middle (6'2"), and was good for a couple of kills and blocks per set, whenever I was able to make a match.

You have to consider left Alexis Pattersen, 5'11 ft. left hander with good setting hands and very good passing skills. She was the starting right side hitter, played all the way around for her AZ 2A state championship team at Northwest Christian.

Also Madeline Metz, 6 ft. right hander also with good hands and a very good passer was the starting outside hitter for her AZ State semi finalist team at Centenial High who also played all the rotations. Both girls have been starters that played on the 13s team that finished 5th at nationals and 13th in open division for their 14s team at nationals.
Both of them are on a very talented 15s team that could compete with the top teams at nationals this year. They played the T Street 16s team early this year and only lost the first match 23-25 and beat Arizona's top 16s team the first time they played this year.

They are both the go to hitters on the team.

There are two other freshman worth mentioning on this team but I figured two was enough to talk about now.

A little more information

Just another note about Monique St.Cyr .  She is running the offense in a 5:1 and she finished the season with 756 with a 68% Assist Percentage,  she ended with 86 Aces, 241 service points and 146 digs, she has incredibly quick hands and is a dynamic defensive player as well.  She is still growing at 5'7" and is approaching jumping at 9'.  She is also playing for WVC 15 Black and she has several individual articles and write ups and is mentioned in the paper every match that Jamestown plays.  This is one to watch!
