Abby Lovell, an athletic 5'10" junior setter for Bloomfield Hills (MI) Marian H.S. and USA Michigan, has verbally committed to play volleyball at Northern Michigan University starting in the fall of 2009. NMU, a NCAA DII program and member of the very competitive Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), is located in Marquette, MI. Abby plans to enter the Pre-Vet program at NMU.

Abby has been the starting setter at Marian for the last two seasons, helping lead the Mustangs to the 2007 Michigan State Championship match. She earned All-Catholic League honors in 2006 and 2007, and was named All-Region and 3^rd Team All-State in 2007.

Congratulations to Abby and the Lovell Family! Abby is a tremendous young lady who has been rewarded for the time and effort she has invested in the game she loves and will make a tremendous impact at the next level!
