By all means!! The summer of her junior year is the best time to take a road trip to schools that have been showing interest. We took a family vacation/college road trip the summer after my daughter's junior year and had a blast!! The youngins stayed with relatives or swam in the hotel pool while we made our visits. We definitely emailed the coaches and they were thrilled to arrange the times to correlate with when we would be in town. It is amazing how fast time flies by and there are so many schools you will want to visit so that you and your daughter can get "a feel" for what you want in a school and in a program. Even though our road trip was in June, she received her offer from her favorite that August. A coaching change stalled things a bit, but in the end she accepted and signed her NLI last month. I wish, however, we had gotton started earlier, like you, because she missed a lot of school visiting other schools. Encourage your daughter to do most of the communication, however.
