Just saw this happen at a regional qualifier...
A group of parents pull their girls out the door because the coach did not play them during their semifinal match. Team had one more match to play. Team had just enough players to play that last match. Same team had already won a bid by making it to the semis, but as trying to win a National bid instead of an American bid.
Do you as a coach still keep in your starters or play your subs as you know already that you are going to nationals already. Only thing you are playing for is a National bid instead of an American bid in that semifinal.

), I won't discuss any particulars regarding individuals -
playing time or lack thereof, why she was pulled (or not pulled), etc.. until 1 day later (if it's a 2 day or more, then the next morning). Things said in
frustration are often things that shouldn't be said because the frustration usually involves both sides. It's only one tournament and they still have
JOs left in their season. Once people have cooled off, usually situtations can be evaluated and discussed sensibly and rationally. My guess here is that
cooler heads did not prevail.
