Several pools of 3 list that they are playing 3 out of 5 games format.

It appears all the 17s pools are 3 teams. Will they be playing 3 out of 5 games format?

If they enter with an american and win a national the american goes back to the qualifier it was won at.
According to USAV, the only time a bid goes back to the qualifier and gets re-awarded to a different team after the fact is if a team wins a Club bid and then subsequently earns an Open bid (at a qualifier or through the at-large process).

Though the USAV documents are a little fuzzy in who exactly gets the National/American bid in this scenario, it is...

It's really a matter of what's good for the few not being good for the masses. Of course these teams want an opportunity to up their division and so it only seems fair to let them play. However, if they win a national bid, it is a negative for the region as a whole because in effect the region loses the bid--on less LS team at JO's.

Bids earned at qualifiers supersede bids earned at Regionals, if they are for the same division. If a team receives an American bid at a qualifier, then receives an American bid from their region, they are obligated to use the bid from the qualifier. I just heard from a parent on TxT 16 Silver that their coach and TxT choose not to enter the National Division for Regionals without discussing it with the players and coaches... Interesting decision by the club.

Sorry they won't be competing against all of us, we enjoyed palying against them this year.
