created a lot of interest from DIII schools that i'm really excited about - don't fixate on DI as the only option out there. the best DIII schools can

I'm a senior and signed my letter of intent on November 9th. It was the most exciting day in my life. I'll give you a little insight into how I made my decision. I had full ride offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Kansas State, Alabama, Iowa and Louisville. The university I chose wasn't even on my radar at first. I made lots of unofficial visits the first part of my junior year. I fell in love with the university I chose. I knew right away this is the place for me.
My advice is...

The gators have had a continually strong volleyball team, and their coaches are just amazing. I'm only in the eighth grade, but I know that is a strong choice for me! Also Colorado, Stanford, and Notre Dame seem like good choices too, but I have to play extremley well to get into those school (same with florida). I hope I can play as well as I am, because last year I was on the USAV select team, and I hope to be this year, too (I got on young for my age)!

Questionairres in the mail DO NOT mean you're getting recruited. For the most part they only mean that the college knows that you exist. You are only a number in their database. YOU have to email and call them and contact them as much as possible so that you turn into a name in their database. THEN when you get to the point where you can actually really see and talk to them the real recruiting starts.

Yeah! College coaches mostly send you letters through the mail and every once and a while they will send you one through email. You will probably start recieving letters when you are in the 15's age group.
