Howard University Head Coach Orlando Larracuente must be extremely worried about his future. After alleged NCAA violations and strange grievances filed against current players, he has suddenly changed. The Interim AD is showing up at practices and games. The Associate AD was fired. The bulls**t practices & issues with the strength coach have suddenly disappeared and the talented Sophomores are playing and the Bison are winning. My Oh My!!!!

Recruiting question

When a VB coach gets a great recruiting two years in a row it seems like the next two years would be impossible to land any blue chip players. You can only play six at a time and you need to keep the same players together to develop good chemistry and teamwork. So does the team take a year off from recruiting or continue even though the playing positions are already filled? What kind of player would want to play for a team that is loaded?

Libero 2+2 Scholarships

I have been told by a couple of D1 college coaches to expect most schools to split a scholarship between a Libero and a DS. Meaning that maybe the fresh year the Libero get's a scholarship and the DS does not then the next year they switch so that the DS gets it and the Libero does not.

Is anyone familiar with this approach ? If so, is it as common as I am being told that I should expect that kind of offer for my 5'4" Libero daughter who is getting college coach...

Does Georgetown or Rice offer women's volleyball scholarship?
