shoulder surgery :-S

so here's the problem: i have multi-directional shoulder instability and i may have a slight tear in my labrum (i think?). at the end of last high school season it was so bad i probably could not have made it another game playing at my best, but i've been in physical therapy for about 5 1/2 months and it's gotten significantly better... but still not great, especially considering that we've only been practicing twice a week. i think either way, i will eventually have to get...

Following are the top five clubs in the country,according to their composite rankings across all ages.

1. Texas Advantage (Ranked 3rd in 15's, 9th in 16's, 5th in 17's and 9th in 18's) composite score 26
2. Sports Performance (25th, 5th, 9th and 1st) composite score 40
3. MAVA (5th, 6th, 10th and 34th) composite score...

What states limit the number of players on a club team?

I know that in Indiana there is a limit of 3 players per High School program that can compete together on any one club team. How many other states have a limit? It appears by looking at the 15's ranking, that Kentucky doesn't have such a limit...and I am pretty sure Illinois has no limit. How do you think this affects the profile of a club and the strength of a club?

Texas High School 4-A 2008

Following Mango's lead, it would be great to start looking forward to some high school volleyball. We are new to the 4-A conference and really do not know a whole lot about any of the teams. I know that Highland Park and Red Oak will be strong in Region 2, but who will be the tough teams in Region 1? I imagine that Aledo and Boswell will be the teams to beat in District 6 if they are not too effected by graduating seniors. Opinions welcome!

Club Cincinnati did not show up for the OVR Regionals on 5/10 as scheduled. Rumors were running rampant but I was wondering if anyone knows what is really going on? Biggest rumor was that the team had disbanded. If this is so, what happens with their bid to Nationals. I hate rumors so facts would be nice

First Ever?

Tomorrow night the Jr. Billikens will take on the Lafayette Lancers at Kirkwood High School. If the Lancers (seeded #1) defeat the Jr. Bills it will be the first ever Boys Championship won by a public school in the large school division in the state of Missouri. The Lancers have made the Final Four several times before taking several third places and a second place (if memory serves me right).

With the Club season in a lull until several Tournaments in the summer, the discussions on the Message Board have really fallen off and this early jump on the Fall 2008 High School season might stimulate some fresh dialog.

Amarillo will be down from their Championship teams of recent years, but will likely still have a quality team.
No idea how they will fare against the stronger teams in Region I.

We are able to repeat and expand our Jr boys' international exhibition. Memorial Day weekend Saturday and Sunday May 24th and 25th.

Sarah Bullock finds IPod and a college ride

Bullock, a 5-9 Jr. OH/RS/S/DS/Serving Specialist (really, is there anything she can't do?), from Allen HS and Skyline Juniors, has become the second Skyline member to commit to Wade Benson at Auburn, joining 17 RoShamBo teammate Katherine Culwell.

I haven't heard where Auburn plans to play her, but I am certain this winner will play soon in some capacity.
